Movie Quotations for Today

Here are the Movie Quotations ...

Andy Warhol:
[speaking of Jack Smith] The only person I would ever copy. He's just so terrific, and I think he makes the best movies.

Movie: Bachelor Party(1984)

Corpral Kuniski:
Polish. Corpral Kuniski.

Laker Armsby:
Kuniski? Well, that's not your fault, son, is it?

Movie: The United States of Leland(2003)

Leland:
And that's when I figured out that tears couldn't make somebody who was dead alive again. There's another thing to learn about tears, they can't make somebody who doesn't love you any more love you again. It's the same with prayers. I wonder how much of their lives people waste crying and praying to God. If you ask me, the devil makes more sense than God does. I can at least see why people would want him around. It's good to have somebody to blame for the bad stuff they do. Maybe God's there because people get scared of all the bad stuff they do. They figure that God and the Devil are always playing this game of tug-of-war game with them. And they never know which side they're gonna wind up on. I guess that tug-of-war idea explains how sometimes, even when people try to do something good, it still turns out bad.

Movie: Zathura: A Space Adventure(2005)

Danny:
Wanna play Stratego?

Walter:
No, you always cheat at board games.

Danny:
But you can't even cheat at Stratego!

Walter:
Trust me, you'll find a way.

Jared:
You speak English?

Humu:
Better than Tongan, actually.

Jared:
But... but...

Humu:
Hey, look, man, no offense, but all your mom ever talks about is food storage and Relief Society centerpieces. To avoid an awkward conversation, I just had to eat. Heck, I was a "buck-eighty" when I first got here. Ha ha!

Movie: Untamed Heart(1993)

Adam:
Once people got use to staying away, they always stayed away. I never got close to anybody.

Movie: Dark Command(1940)

Well, I guess Lawrence is burned to the ground.

Bob 'Shortcut' Seton:
Yeah. Well, we got a saying down in Texas: that it takes a good fire to burn down the weeds... to let the flowers grow.

Movie: Wagons East(1994)

[drunk] We leave at dawn... noon-ish.

Movie: The Omen(1976)

Young nanny:
Look at me, Damien! It's all for you.

[she jumbs off a roof, hanging herself]

Movie: Kabhi Kabhie - Love Is Life(1976)

Amitabh Malhotra:
[singing] Sometimes the thought crosses my mind / That you were made for me. / Before this you lived among the stars / You were called to earth for me. / Sometimes the thought crosses my mind / That your body, your eyes are in trust for me. / The dense shade of your hair is for me alone, / These lips, these arms are in my trust. / Sometimes the thought crosses my mind / As if wedding music plays on the road. / It is our wedding night and I'm lifting your veil... / You're melting in my arms, blushing with shyness... / Sometimes the thought crosses my mind / That you'll love me forever. / You'll always look at me with love in your eyes... / I know you now belong to another, but still / Sometimes the thought crosses my mind...
